The JV Boys Soccer team kept rolling with two more wins this week over Mount Si and Newport.

Game 1: vs. Mt Si 2-1 Win

On Tuesday, IHS opened the conference portion of their schedule and faced their toughest test of the season with a gritty 2-1 win over Mount Si. The opening half featured balanced possession, but Issaquah generated the better chances and finally broke through five minutes before halftime when sophomore Cyrus Chan buried the first goal of the match. Mount Si responded quickly after the break, pressing high and converting early in the second half to level the score. It was the first goal that the Eagles have conceded this season. But Issaquah’s composure held, and Chan delivered again, slotting home the eventual game‐winner and completing his brace to secure the victory.

Game 2: vs. Newport 4-0 Win

On Friday, Issaquah extended their win streak to 6 with a commanding 4-0 performance against Newport. The match opened with immediate pressure, and a foul in the box gave Cyrus Chan the chance to convert from the spot for a 1–0 lead. From there, Issaquah settled into long stretches of possession, creating steady momentum that produced two more first‐half goals from juniors Yuvi Singh and Austin Ostrom. The second half brought more of the same control, capped by a well‐placed header from Aiden Smith-Sletten to close out the win.
