A Tradition of Excellence
The Issaquah High School Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer programs compete in the KingCo 4A Conference—one of the most competitive leagues in Washington state. As part of the state’s largest classification, both programs uphold a proud tradition of excellence, resilience, and community spirit.
Boys
Spring Program
The Issaquah Boys’ Soccer program has recently experienced the strongest run in school history. In 2022, the team posted a 13–6 record and advanced to the State Quarterfinals. The Eagles also reached the state quarterfinals in 2009, 2012, and 2023.
In 2014, Issaquah captured its first-ever KingCo league championship and earned a berth in the state tournament’s opening round.
In 2025, Coach Mark Kovats returned to Issaquah as head coach. His primary goal is to build a sustainable model capable of program and team success for years to come by creating a soccer program, with cohesion across the 3 teams, and goals to be great at all levels, year in and year out.
